• So on the one hand, the Scientific Community has rejected the DSM.​​

• Orchid is a kind of Salon des Refuses [Exhibition of Rejected Objects]  in that we are "EXHIBITING" Science that takes a DEVELOPMENTAL, MULTI-SYSTEM view of Neuro-Developmental and Psychiatric Disorders over the Lifespan.
  
• If Official Channels haven't officially "Rejected" this emerging science --- they have been slow to adopt and to recognize the significance and implications.
  
• ​​We are wanting to get beyond the "MYTHS" of the DSM to something more firmly grounded in Biology and Science while recognizing the Biological Impacts of Trauma, Social Environment and Toxins.
